How It Works

We start with an idea from you. After you submit an enquiry to our designers, we offer you a proposal and then get to work. It’s important that we fully understand your vision, so we may schedule a visit to your residence or business to get a better understanding of what you have in mind.

For example, we may make suggestions on the best way to adjust your furniture design so that it better accommodates your space or room. From headboards to sofas, our expert Craftsmen are here to assist you in making sure you receive the best furniture possible.

We work closely with you in the beginning stages to ensure that we use the proper fabrics and materials needed to bring your vision to life. As such, we will show you a wide variety of fabrics and let you choose the one that best suits your project.

Our designers will also present you with drawings to make sure we’re on the same page in terms of what you expect your furniture to look like. When ready, we will place the order for your fabrics, and once it arrives, we build your project from the frame up.

In four to six weeks, your furniture will be complete. And upon completion, your project will be delivered directly to your home or office. What’s more, we strive to provide our clients with a comprehensive experience. Therefore, we are happy to assist in the installation of your new piece if you require such service.

Jerome and his team has just completed the recovering of eight large leather dining chairs and a full set of fabric outdoor furniture (chaise, sofas and 10 dining chairs). These had all been owned and used for many years and we had feared they would require replacing. Not so! Jerome collected sad looking furniture and delivered back what looks like brand new replacements. We wanted to recycle some modern leather dining chairs rather than replace them but we couldn't find the right contact who we trusted to do what we needed - we found Jerome and he immediately understood what we wanted and gave us some great advice and ideas. The quality of the work is superb and we can't recommend Jerome and his team highly enough. I had three pieces(a sofa and two wing chairs) to re-upholster which had never been in the same room together before. Mr. Shorter took pictures of the pieces and the carpet they had to coordinate with and gave me some design ideas. This did not work. He recommended stores where I could obtain swatches of fabric. After numerous attempts on my own Mr Shorter came again to my apartment and selected fabrics I had not thought to combine. A perfect choice and I could not be happier with the result-a fresh, colourful, contemporary design for the entire room. Excellent reupholstering for old furniture. I highly recommend Mr. Shorter to anyone who wishes to add new life to one or more pieces.
